The thinking being she should marry a man like her brother, not some intellectual. And then that'd fit with the idea of Fitzroy's uncle potentially taking issue with the marriage.<br /><br />Disappointing that the "murderer" was a jellyfish, but I agree it's a very compelling use of Holmes as narrator.
